 Hi! I’m Elisabeth Scherer. I am a watercolor and mixed media artist based in the Midwest. Creative arts have always been a part of my life from drawing, to theatre, music, and painting.

I have experience teaching chalk pastels, still life, and watercolor and draw on my customer service & theatre background when speaking in front of groups of people. 

After moving across the country to be closer to family, I refocused my artistic practice to developing my watercolor skills through tutorials and subscription boxes. What I love about watercolor is the magic that happens when you put pigment and water on paper. The practice of art as an outlet for work stress, life happenings, and fostering creativity has been what drives me to continue being creative every day. 

I believe that everyone can do art no matter their past experience or natural talent. Creating art is a skill that develops from consistent practice and exploration. My goal when teaching others about watercolor and other arts is to show that having creative outlets can help make us more relaxed, curious, and motivated to tackle anything life throws at us.
